This title seems like a contradiction, but as a matter of fact there exists wood that is fire retardant. For specific situations very useful. Due to the strict European laws lots of places demand products that are fire retardant.

Thanks to our collection of fire retardant wood, which is conform the most strict standard (M1), venetian blinds in wood can be offered in these places as well. (e.g. hotels, public places, ..). Eventually a fire will affect the wood, but the wood has a fire retardant effect and will as result not catch fire.
